Texas Assault Founder and Director Eric Zender started the club in 1994 as a venue for girls in the Garland Richardson and East Dallas area.  At that time in Dallas, most of the clubs were north of Dallas or west, and there was no place for east Dallas girls to play. From the time it started, it took only three years to go from two teams to fifteen teams.  It has been growing every year.  Eric has a passion for the game and has always focused on personal and athletic development of his players.

Through the years Eric has been able to build a volleyball club that strives to prepare players' transition to college by teaching these important life skills.

We focus on improving and developing the volleyball skills of the athlete through intense and individualized training, having fun, and working as a team. All teams will have ten players, with an eleven player maximum. Most teams practice 2-3 days per week, but this is at the discretion of the coach.
